I LOVE working on nautical inspired crafts for the house. So I was really excited to get started on a new DIY beach decor buoy craft! I did some foam buoy’s last year for the house. I love the idea of using the extra large wooden tags and some smaller ones for these. Once I saw them I knew they would be perfect for the shape I wanted. They look exactly like a buoy shape, right?!
Supplies needed to make your own DIY beach decor tags:
I used some extra washi tape I had on hand to tape my tags off. I looked online for some inspiration for my buoys.
Paint numbers on the tags. I plan on hanging these outside on my front door, if that’s what you want to do then you can add your home address on the front. I used a basic stencil and a sponge brush for this step and let each number dry 5 minute before adding the next.
See how awesome they turned out. I can’t tell you how excited I was when I finished. I really can’t believe I didn’t think of this idea sooner!
