If your kids are anything like mine, then they are always ready for a good crafting session. With school about to let out for winter break, there are bound to be a few full of energy kids needing a quite crafty project. This paper snow globe craft for kids is a great activity for kids of all ages. My 3 year old even helped make these with me! So break out the glue stick and safety scissors and let’s get crafty!
- Colored Cardstock
- Small White Pom Poms
- Glue Stick
- White Paint Marker
- Family or Individual Kid Photo
- Stamps, Stickers, and Crayons
Once the pieces are cut out, have your kids glue them to a full piece of cardstock with the photo in the middle of the globe. Then use the glue stick or regular craft glue to glue the white pom poms in the snow globe. You will want quite a few piled on the bottom of the globe and a few others floating in the middle. Then let your kids get creative with the crayons, stamps, and stickers and decorate the snow globe both inside and out.
Now that you have the how-to, go get your kids and crafting on this fun paper snow globe craft for kids. Feel free to modify this tutorial to make it your own. Or even add some glitter (although you may want to take that step outside!). However you make it, it is sure to help beat boredom on those cold, cooped up winter days and if you need another fun kids craft, check out these Perler Beads snowflakes.
