I absolutely love traveling with my family and make a conscious effort to print out all the pictures we take on our travels. Looking through those pictures is like reliving the amazing adventures we’ve had! Out of all the photo box craft ideas, this mini suitcase photo box is the perfect way to store those travel memories safely while still keeping them easily accessible. Plus, it looks super cute on a table or bookshelf!
Supplies needed to make your own Photo Box Craft Ideas:
Using the box as a template, trace and cut two panels of scrapbook paper to fit on the front and back of cigar box. Use a Xyron machine or another method of adhesive, to apply glue to back of each panel and stick in place.
Next cut two strips of faux leather or tan paper. Trim to fit on suitcase and apply adhesive to back. Stick in place on either side of the brass handle and repeat with second strip.
Then cut small corner protectors from the same tan/leather paper and stick in place with adhesive.
Again, use the cigar box as a template to cut panels for the inside of the cigar box from coordinating paper. One last time, apply adhesive to the back and stick in place.
Now that your mini suitcase photo box is completed, all you have to do is grab your favorite travel pics and souvenirs and add them to the box. Store your photo box anywhere that it’s easy to pull down and enjoy your pictures whenever you want!
How adorable will this photo box look on a bookshelf or coffee table! I love knowing that my pictures will be stored safely in this box and that my kids can always pull it down whenever they want. Happy travels!
