Are you like me and LOVE your wine?! Well today’s simple DIY wine cork stoppers are the project for you! I have known for awhile now that I’ve wanted to make these for the house. If you not a wine drinker, not a problem. You can add them to decorative bottles or your olive oil bottle. So many possibilities.
Supplies needed to make your own DIY wine cork stoppers:
- Decorative Knobs
- Wine Corks
- Power Drill
- Small Drill Bit
I rounded up all my supplies for this craft, YAY!!
I have a TON of corks that I have saved over the years. But if you haven’t saved any, you can buy packs of wine corks as well.
I pulled out my “trusty” drill for this project. For the bit, I used a small (3/32 or 7/64).
I marked a spot in the center of the cork and drilled away! Don’t go all the way through.
Now it’s time to add your decorative knob!! All you need to do is screw the knob in now. Seriously it’s that simple.
All done!! I had 5 DIY wine cork stoppers made in about ten minutes. It took me longer to decide which knobs to use then to actually make the wine stoppers.
