I can’t believe how quickly the holidays are approaching! They are flying by this year! With Christmas nearly upon us, I wanted to take a moment to share a really fun craft for New Year’s Eve! Yup! New Year’s! I actually love celebrating New Year’s Eve with family and friends and often enjoy hosting a party for a few close friends. One of the best parts of celebrating New Year’s Eve is counting down to the new year. And of course smooching my hubby! But after that, we often drink a little sparkling apple cider, eat a few yummy treats and just enjoy the time together. This year I am taking the partying up a notch and so I created these cute confetti DIY packets to hand out to throw in the air as we ring the new year in! These are easy to make and oh-so-cute! So keep reading to learn how to create these for your New Year’s party!
Supplies needed to make your own confetti DIY packets:
As a note, I created 2 confetti DIY packets out of each bag of confetti. You could probably make 3, but I wanted to ensure that everyone has adequate confetti for throwing!
I fell in love with this washi tape because of the old-time clocks and gears on it! It felt like a wonderful way to ring in the new year with clock themed washi tape!
Making these is so simple! You will simply separate the confetti into the self-sealing clear bags. Once they are as full as you want them, you can seal the bags using the sticky end.
Then finish your confetti DIY party packets by simply adding a touch of washi tape to make them look a little festive and fun and that’s it!
You can also have your kiddos help you make these! It is that easy!
Be sure to hand out your confetti DIY packets to all your guests (or your family if you are celebrating as a family this year) and when the clock strikes midnight, ring in the new year in glittery, confetti style! For pretty New Year’s Eve party decorations, consider crafting these DIY glittered votives for a sparkling accent to the evening!
