You can make this DIY wedding signage to use as a photo prop for some fun pictures of the bride and groom. It only takes minutes to make this Mr. and Mrs. sign to be used at any wedding photo session. This is a fun way to capture a close up of the hands of the bride and groom or pictures of them standing together holding this sign. Make this wedding photo prop to add to the celebration of the big day.
- Laser Cut Mr. & Mrs. Wood Sign
- Jute Garland with Burlap Flowers (Ribbon can be used for a less rustic version)
- Americana Decor White Chalk Paint (Customize the colors to match your wedding)
- Foam Paint Brush
- Hot Glue Gun
Start by painting your DIY wedding signage with a coat or two of the chalky finish paint. Allow that to dry completely. I kept the paint off of the edges of the sign in order to keep the dark to light contrast. I also wanted a more rustic look so I went over the entire sign with sandpaper. Some areas I wore away the paint completely.
Use hot glue and your glue gun to attach a length of the jute twine to the back of the sign. Try to think of what photos you will be using the wedding photo prop to stage when determining a length for your twine.
Give the DIY wedding signage to the bride and groom and start taking some pictures. This quick and easy project works great for a wedding photo session. You can even use it as decoration at your wedding reception.
